Understanding Our Limitations

When we set out to overcome, we tend to rely on our strengths. We can just as much rely on our limitations. When there is an obstacle, it might sometimes mean that we are meant to gather strength from what we do not have. This is always a hard lesson and might be misconstrued as punishment. It is not. In understanding that we have to face disappointment, we progress. This progress far outstrips the power of momentary success. While we might not seem to cover much ground, we are afforded a closer look at where we stand.

The seeming failure of any progress teaches us that advancement is relative. Why is this? Because movement in the direction of desired outcomes is a lesser movement than working to move while being limited.
